Sister Anne Brooks was an intern at the hospital where I worked many years ago. After completing her internship, she devoted her medical career to helping underprivileged individuals in the Mississippi Delta at the Tutwiler Clinic. The Clinic’s goal is to enable patients to become knowledgeable about their health or illness, and to participate in their own care to their fullest potential. The Clinic is near-and-dear-to-me and I am honored to be a small part of Sister Brooks’calling.
