ABOUT THE BOOK

YOUR LIFE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Life was good for Dr. David Wolf. He had a loving wife and family, a successful medical practice, and the opportunity to train other doctors. He even found time for his passionate hobby, adult go-kart racing. Those days were turned upside down when he was catapulted from his go-kart as it slammed into a concrete wall.

But tragedy did not mark the end of “the good life” for Dr. Wolf. Instead, that unexpected event marked the beginning of his most compelling adventures to encourage and help others.

At some point, crushing disappointment or debilitating tragedy touches most people. David Wolf’s story of overcoming adversity will inspire you to press on, despite desperate circumstances or uphill challenges, to discover that, in the strength of God’s power, your life can make a difference.

5stars How to roll with — and around — life’s obstacles.
By Brad Sargent on July 19, 2014
Format: Paperback

*The Gift Is You* is the personal story of my friend David Wolf. He’s a “Type A” personality doctor who delivered over 10,000 babies during his career, did medical mission work in Haiti, and mentored many other doctors – but ended up partially paralyzed from a go-kart accident at age 54, on July 29, 2001. Instead of letting hard circumstances stop him, David chose to roll with and around his obstacles. Our personalities are quite different, but if I found myself in a similarly difficult situation, I hope I’d respond like he did.

5stars ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ. A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!
By Cindy Davis (MI) on July 18, 2014
Format: Paperback

WOW!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful book Dr. Wolf has written. How God used his tragedy to over come the darkest days of his life. Dr. Wolf was my doctor for 30 years and he delivered my son back in 1984. I can honestly tell you that he is the best doctor in the world. He showed so much kindness, compassion and concern for all of his patients. I actually loved talking to him on my visits and he would always ask me before he left the room if there was anything I wanted to talk about. Now in his book, he expresses how his Lord and Savior helped him “Press On” through his go kart accident.
